Jesus Christ is both the Son Of God and also Himself God. Jesus is God in the flesh. He was born on Earth over 2000 years ago but at the same time He has always existed. His purpose in living as a human was to preach the truth and to die for our sins. Jesus Christ is the ONLY way to get to Heaven. In John 14:6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me". He died a torturous death and was crucified and because Jesus has never done anything wrong in His entire existence He was the perfect sacrifice and is able to forgive people of their sins. We get all of our necessary information about Jesus from the Holy Bible. The Bible is known as the Word of God. Jesus is a member of the Holy Trinity. The Trinity also consists of God the Father and the Holy Spirit (also known as the Holy Ghost).
