The Bible says that there will be great apostasy before Jesus returns. Many will abandon the faith. Also many believers will become lukewarm. This is actually already taking place. Less and less people are going to church and many churches have become lukewarm. Many churches have become corrupt. There are lots of churches that teach self-motivation and prosperity rather than self-denial and repentance. Churches are accepting things that God condemns. There are many lies that are being preached and taught in churches these days. A good Bible-based church is getting harder and harder to find. Many churches care more about increasing and maintaining church attendance that they want feel good messages instead of preaching the truth.
